How Many More Times?
Ronald Weinland is a member of a list. It is a long list. It is the list of those who have prophesied the end and failed.
On another Weinland blog called Don't drink the flavoraid there is a picture of the aftermath of Jonestown, Guyania. Above Jim Jones's empty chair hangs a sign which reads:
THOSE WHO DO NOT REMEMBER THE PAST
ARE CONDEMED TO REPEAT IT
That sign is eerily true.
*NOTE
The picture above is of a sticker that was attached to a utility pole in the early nineties. I posted it to show how there are others who have predicted the date of the end and failed. Disregard the word rapture. ILFPRW is not affiliated with the rapture movement.

You are wrong about Ronald Weinland he dosnt teach the rapture.
Sorry anonymous,
The picture shows that someone prophesied October 28th 1992 as the exact date of Jesus' return.
In today's sermon, Ronald Weinland announced Dec 14th as the day his job begins as one of the two witnesses of Revelation. I guess the economy is going to turn around if he is confident he is getting a job in December.
The Compact Oxford English Dictionary of Current English definitions of "cult":
1 a system of religious worship directed towards a particular figure or object.
2 a small religious group regarded as strange or as imposing excessive control over members.
3 something popular or fashionable among a particular section of society.
Jack's Aid definition of the word CULT:
Any religion-based group that causes a person to contribute a substantial portion of ones time and income, without solving any of ones problems.
The problem Ron poses is a self-limiting one. He has tied himself to predictions with time limits. He’ll be able to, as he has, claim his predictions ‘are happening spiritually’. That buys him a little more time.
As more time passes and more ‘prophecies’ fail, the less credbility Ron will have even with his most ardent supporters. The accumulated failures of his claims and ‘prophecies’ to date have decimated his credibility with objective obervers.
The more Ron speaks the tighter he draws his own noose. Particularly, with as many observers documenting what he says versus what happens. Kudos to all those who are doing this. Don’t doubt the good effect you are having. Keep it up!!
One wonders how a person could come to believe they are one of the Two Witnesses of Revelation. Mental illness? Such a claim – leaves me incredulous. But, like so many here, I say prove it. Is that too much to expect? For such an extradordinary claim, I think not.
Is it wrong to enjoy it when Ron’ ‘prophecies’ fail? Or to laugh when Ron explains why? Is it wrong to laugh with glee when Ron changes his timeline? Well, I’ll let you be the judge of that. Because, I, for one, am greatly enjoying the show. I really am. As far as I am concerned, the more we hear from Ron the better.
Remember he cinches the rope around his neck tighter every time he opens his mouth. So, I say…
Ron, prove that you and your wife are the Two Witnesses of Revelation. Prove it. I am willing to overlook your previously failed ‘prophecies’ and give you a clean slate, BUT NOT ANY TITHES!!
Ron, with your God granted miracle working ability and the charge from God to warn the world of the coming End and the power God granted you and your wife to punish unbelievers as often and how you wish, it shouldn’t be much of a problem for you to, say, get on 60 minutes. That might be a good place to start your God given ministry.
Ron, I look forward to the beginning of your ministry! Prophecy for us, Ron. Prophecy.

I am sure 60 minutes will pick up the story of Ron, after the IRS CID files charges.
As for is it wrong to laugh at Ron every time he changes his timeline? I look at it as if he is the sunday funny papers. So laugh away, I do sometimes.
I don't laugh at the tragedy of the weak minded getting their lives and wallets raped by the ILFP.
