Ronald Weinland, you should read Matthew 9:13

"Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.' For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."

The Great Internetribulation

Whoever it was that did the opening prayer today asked God to "make sure the internet connection goes well". The Almighty allowed the connection to be cut off fifteen minutes before Ron was ready to stop "preaching". I guess there is a hidden message in that one. The only tribulation that seems to be going on is Ron's woes with recurring internet problems, his health, and the health of many of his elders (dying).

Ron says you can read the bible 1000 times but you won't understand it unless you have the spirit of God. Well, I have not read the bible 1000 times but I can understand it fine. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Eternal. Right Ron?

The sermon title "From Curses to Blessings" applies to Ronald Weinland. If Ron stops twisting and distorting the words in the bible, maybe he would stop being cursed. There are more curses to come upon Ronald Weinland, and not just a lost internet connection.

Any of his followers who turn from the curse of Ron will truly be blessed.

My only question about Mr. Weinland is....

Does he believe the things he says? Does he believe his is truly a prophet?

Or...

Is he just a crook and is all this contrived?

Either way, he is NOT who he says he is. His scholarship is baseless and terrible, totally flawed and inaccurate. He has led many people astray.

Any man who claims to know the things that Weinland claims to know should automatically be under suspicion, and is probably a heretic - because the Bible clearly states NO MAN shall know the hour or the day.

Mr Weinalnd, you are going directly against the Bible.

Some days I think he is a con artist in it for the money. Other days I believe he is truly lost in the dark.

That comment is gold. It is like a light shining in the dark. Ron has made silly anouncements that only benefit his ego, or if he is a con artist, his sense of humor.

All those titles he has given himself! If he was truly a prophet he would not have to announce it. His deeds would make it evident to the whole world that he had power from God. Those who did not believe would claim it was hollywood trickery or special effects.

Where are Ron's miracles? Has he healed the sick? Raised the dead? Set the captives free?

He is as false as they come.

In Ron's mind, plausible deniability means the "spirit world is stirred up". Of course he will blame it on satan.

I think in the future we will no longer hear the internet connection being mentioned in opening prayers. Ron's iron fist will make sure of that.

He is had zero success thus far. There is very little we can be certain about when it comes to biblical prophecy. As Christians, part of our faith is believing that Jesus Christ will return. Pretty much all Christian denominations preach that one way or another. But as for when it happens, no one can no. EVERYTHING we get from the Bible is vague. All we know for sure is that conditions in the world will probably be pretty bad with wars, rumors or wars, disease, etc. And there will be signs in the heavens and so forth. But what exactly does all this mean? No one knows. The Bible does not say. But the Bible does go out of its way to explicitly state that no will know.

So there are only a few possibilities here:

1) Ron is a deliberate liar and con man.

2) Ron is mentally ill. He believes he is who he says he is. But he is delusional and a bad scholar.

3) Ron is the Witness mentioned in the Bible - but the Bible itself has been flawed in predicting how things will pay out.

Me, I tend to go with number 2. However, I think there have been indications that despite the fact that he is delusional (and we all have delusions no and then to some extent) he knows he is wrong, but his pride is making him stay the course, alter his stories and theories, and hope that it all works out. And if that is true than Ron is committing an even worse sin, in my opinion.

Let's face it... from the perspective of a non-believer (which I AM NOT) this man is a crook or a nut case or a bit of both end if story!

And from the perspective of a believer (which I AM!) we probably all conclude that if he were who he says he is that he would have been right about something he has predicted thus far, and that he would not have to have gone back months later and re-wrote his predictions, saying that things he clearly predicted to happen in an overt, physical manner actually did happen, but were "spiritual".

This man should be rebuked at every turn. Prophecy in the Bible brings hope. False prophecy dashes and dims hope. Ron knows the truth deep down. He just can't admit it.

I lean towards number 1. Con artist. Remember when we were getting close to the books start date for the doorstep of horror? He was pushing for everyone to cash in their chips because even gold would be worthless. When he mentioned gold it was about $800 and ounce. Now it is almost $1400.

I often wonder how many of his followers got totally bent over by mortgaging their previously owned homes and cashed in their 401k, and even great grandma's heirloom diamonds. Ron squirrelled all that away, and when he realized after the fireworks didn't go off that they were still tithing , he decided to run the show until he could not squeeze any more out of it.

And if that's not it, then he is definitely toys in the attic over the rainbow.

Does Ron still have ANYONE who believes he is a prophet, let alone one of the Witnesses mentioned in Revelations!?

If there was a nuclear war, famine killing a billion, and a Earthquake measuring 13.0 on the Richter Scale then I would be hanging on Ron's every word if I were still alive. Heck, if even ONE of those thing happened I would be listening.

But NOTHING, save a severe economic downturn (which we'll recover from in a couple of years) has happened.

I just shudder to think if the mind of someone who actually follows this liar!

Even if everything in Ron's book happened the way he said, I wouldn't believe in him. He said Jesus was a liar. He deviates from what is written in the gospels.

Tomorrow we will see if he allows the opening prayer speaker to ask for a blessed internet connection. I don't see him allowing anyone to mention the connection again. It makes him look unprophetic and unapostle-like.

Poor old Ron. Not even one of his predictions has come true.

No, not even one.

In fact, there is not even an event that can vaguely be linked to his mindless ramblings!

But I am a true prophet! How shall I prove this? With the following prophecy:

"Ronald Weinland is a false prophet. The Bible tells us that these will appear from time to time. 2012 will pass and the world will not be that much different than it is today"

Check back on this in January 2013. I think you will find that I was 100% correct.

Mr. Weinland has not added anything to his website since August 2010. You would think that if all he has predicted is unfolding as we speak - even if it's all invisible or on a purely spiritual level - that he would have something to say. At least he could offer encouragement to his followers.

But he is silent. Why? Because he has been 100% wrong at every turn.

Look for his predictions to become more and more vague as time passes. Maybe at some point we will get from him some big, vague statement where he tries to redirect his "ministry" and give himself a way out so that he can proceed unencumbered by all his previous errors/lies or whatever they have been.

Has he said ANYTHING where he even seems to admit that he has been wrong??

jack635 said...

He will not admit to being wrong. If he continues preaching after May 2012, he will blame everything on the church's lack of faith or perhaps it was just a "test".

Last time I listened to him his tone of voice seemed depressed or tired. Or maybe he is starting to think his idol Herbie was wrong about everything.

You say you can understand the Bible well, yet that same Bible you claim you understand says you can't understand it without the spirit of God.
Now you're like Ron who makes claims that are unscriptural.

Ron claims he is a prophet, apostle, etc.

Now what is it you think that I have claimed?

jack635 said...

And where in the Bible do you think it says I cannot understand what is written? Please only quote ONE scripture.
