Ronald Weinland, you should read Matthew 9:13

"Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.' For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."

Changes Will Be Made.......Again and Again

Last time I listened to Ronald Weinland, one of Ron's followers must have been giving him the evil eye. Ron said sometimes he has audience contact so he would just look elswhere. He then said somebody must be having a bad day. I took that to mean a PKG member was pissed that nothing of what he had prophesied has taken place, and was probably scowling or glaring at the nonprophet organisation's leader.

Today Ron said the room was overflowing and was also overflowing during the last sermon. Must be due to the reassignment of T2 so members can spend their money to travel to see Ron talk. We are now only 13 weeks from the Great Disappointment of the PKG. I'm sure Ron will take a step back and make some changes to what 2008 GFW and the Bible really mean. O isn't it wonderful that we are given more understanding as we get closer. Trouble is, that "understanding" we are getting is contradicting everything Ron has written and said.

He said something today that caught my attention:

"future prophetic spiritually Jerusalem"

Spiritual Jerusalem? Could Ron be laying the foundation to make some changes to his Final Witness prophecies? Could this be a prelude to Ron NOT going to Jerusalem to be killed by the beast power? Perhaps he will twist spiritual Jerusalem into the U.S. and the beast could end up being the U.S. Justice Dept. I have said in the past he will probably use the old shorten the days excuse.

Whatever happens, I'm sure the die hards will continue to follow him even while he is in jail, and the ones who leave the PKG will not seek financial reparations. Afterall the Christian thing to do is forgive, so they won't seek any legal recourse. Funny how they will forgive Ron's misbehaviour but will not forgive those who have been disfellowshipped by their "Prophet of the God of Abraham". Ex members and nonmembers being ignored by the PKG isn't pride, it's obedience to God. More like obedience to Ron, a proven false prophet who you have given money to. Jesus warned you about false prophets. What would a prophet need with money?

I don't interpret or manipulate the Word. I just write it down exactly as it is written.

"1Ti 6:3 If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, 1Ti 6:4 he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing."

Gal 1:9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.

You PKGers are following a proven false prophet. Pick up your Bible and start reading on the first page of Matthew NOT the Old Testament. Otherwise, you deserve what people like Ronald Weinland are going to do to you. The end of the Bible is Paradise. The end with Ron is misery, then depression, anger, and finally, atheism.

This is my response to any further commenting:

Read one of the gospels from front to back with no interference from any other person. If you find anything that conflicts with your church, then you don't really believe in Jesus, and this is all just a social club for you and your friends. WHOSOEVER calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

A person wandering around in the dark cannot possibly lead others. Ronald Weinland has failed every prophecy he has proclaimed. If you don't believe Ronald Weinland is a False Prophet, then you are in the dark. The dark is indeed a miserable place, No?

Yes, the dark is miserable. I know from personal experience after experiencing Armstrongism.

1975 was absolutely the last possible year anyone could possibly take Herbert Armstrong or any of those who came from him even semi-seriously.

He failed. He was a false prophet.

Once someone is proved to be a false prophet, it is over: No believer should continue following a liar and con man.

Nevertheless, people continue to follow false prophets. The reason is given in the University of Minnesota psychological study, "When Prophecy Fails" by Leon Festinger, Henry W. Riecken and Stanley Schachter. Armstrongism follows the formula perfectly according to the theory of the process of cult followings.

Expect Ronald Weinland to fail but still keep his following. In fact, there may be more fervor than ever.

It's science.

yeah, I've decided anything I write will not induce a PKG member to leave. Maybe potential recruits will be more cautious, but those who are living the lie will stay.

The first page of a book on Hitler has this about a whole nation following a madman:

Neither blindness nor ignorance corrupts people and governments. They soon realize where the path they have taken is leading them. But there is an impulse within them, favored by their natures and reinforced by their habits, which they do not resist; it continues to propel them forward as long as they have a remnant of strenghth. He who overcomes himself is divine. Most see their ruin before their eyes; but they go on into it.

There is hope. Obviously, using failed prophecy is a failed strategy for inducing an exodus.

Consider this, though: The reason that Armstrongists signed up in the first place is that they were discontented with the world and joined up so they could be in on a transformation more to their liking.

In 2005, there was a mass exodus from the ccg because the people were discontent with the way their leader handled things and left in a huff over unfair treatment of their #2: They were so disgusted. About 80% of them left (leaving about 20 world wide).

At the end of 2010, people were so disgusted with UCG they left en masse for CoGWA.

The trick seems to be to capitalize on the discontent of the malcontents: Find something in the group that really irritates them.

Right now, it looks like such a process is going on over at the Restored Church of God as people are being stirred up about how he is running things. Malcontents may not stand for his misuse of "tithes" revealed by a credible source.

It's logic: How would there be over 700+ splinters if everyone were content?

It's something we can use.
