Ronald Weinland, you should read Matthew 9:13

"Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.' For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."

WHAT IF...Ron Is A Lie

I tuned in today a half hour late so I missed the first part of Ron's "sermon". He used a whining tone to mock those who might be thinking "what if nothing happens...my house, my investments, my job". Well I say to all PKG members, What if Ron is a deluded cult or just plain con artist? We don't have long to wait, do we?

Ron said "we don't know where, how, when, until it happens". But in his book he set out very clearly where, how, and when it will happen, while declaring himself a prophet of the God of Abraham. Have you forgotten what is written in black and white in 2008 God's Final Witness? It is 76 days until Ron's prediction of Jesus returning preceeded by the great three and one half year tribulation. We were on the doorstep of horror way back in 2008, according to Ronald Weinland. Where are all Ron's calamities and economic collapses, nuclear explosions in port cities and all those dead bodies? And the millions turning to Ron for salvation of the "truth".

Ron does not want to hear anyone who says the economy is getting better and the stock market is sailing upwards.

We should not be caught off guard. Certain people who are listening, who like to tear apart and find fault with what I say have perverted, distorted, twisted minds.

That is the kind of brainwashing Ron uses to keep control of his sheep. Don't question what is happening in the world, just keep listening and obeying Ron.

I look forward to when some of Ron's followers will be free from his "filth, distortion, and twisting" of the gospel. Many who finally escape Armstrongism become atheists. Is that the purpose of your gospel Ron?, Atheism? Of course when Jesus does not return on May 27th, it will not be because you are a false prophet, it will be because the COG PKG fell into the same snare as all those others who believed they could know the date of Jesus Christ's return. It couldn't be because you are the one perverting and twisting the gospel of Jesus Christ. After all, Jesus lied when he said "I am He".

Ronald Weinland teaches that Jesus Christ is a liar. But the PKG members are blind to Ron's twisting of the scriptures. Therefore they shall reap what they sow.

As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.

No real what if. RW has already proved he is a false prophet with his book and the false prophecies which have already failed.

If I read you right, Jack, the requisite has already been supplied in both the proven false prophecies and the contrary gospel.

It would not matter if the IRS / Justice Department actions come to nothing and RW is not convicted and / or serves no prison time.

I think too many people are waiting for an event like RW in prison and the Next Great Prophecy to fail, but there is no excuse right now and there isn't a fee pass. Those who are following him now are delusional and not obeying Scripture.

They can leave right away and none of us should be willing to accept any further excuses.

You got it Douglas! That is the reason I won't be trying so hard anymore. From now on my posts will be my opinion backed up by the book Ron claims to be following.

I now understand why Kirrily says "Tosser!" when one of those "dedicated" defenders of Weinland spews indignation.

I mean, just look at the picture Mike put up of the "Third Witness". There is no way into that guys mind. Those are the kind of people who have to hit bottom before they even consider taking medication. And those who continue to follow Weinland are pretty well in the same boat or making their way to the dock.

Will he do the right thing like Harold camping? I kind of doubt it.

"(RNS) Radio evangelist Harold Camping has called his erroneous prediction that the world would end last May 21 an "incorrect and sinful statement" and said his ministry is out of the prediction business.

"We have learned the very painful lesson that all of creation is in God's hands and he will end time in his time, not ours!" reads the statement signed by Camping and his staff and posted on his ministry's website.

"We humbly recognize that God may not tell his people the date when Christ will return, any more than he tells anyone the date they will die physically."

So now the tribulation that was great is not "great". It WAS 3 1/2 years and now it could be a day...so what about the whole chapter of Ron's book called "Why such Massive Destruction?" that goes on and on explaining how God will allow us to destroy ourselves or...nearly...and then rescue us at the last second?

I thought that Christ could not just return "tomorrow" without the "tribulation" because we all have such short memories and it is human nature to just pick up and go on...

Has he answered THAT question lately? Has anyone in PKG ASKED him? If they did they are probably gone.

He has said so many contradictory things I can't keep up! (ok...I don't really WANT to...)

Yeah...what IF Ron is a big fat liar? IF?!!!???

He's convinced ME!
Thanks Jack.

Harold can't give back the money but at least he isn't preaching his crap anymore. I can't imagine how many people got hurt by his nonsense.

I'd like to see Ron on a Radio program again, just to discuss that chapter and explain why we've had such "massive destruction", here in March with another American Presidential Election looming.

I thought the Great Tribulation was supposed to be 7 years.

Maybe that's 7 days.

And since a day is a 1,000 years and a 1,000 years is a day, the Great Tribulation is either (pick any two): 3,500 years, 7,000 years, 2,520 years, 2,520,000 years (360 days in a year), 1,260 years or 1,260,000 years.

I see we've run out of time....

I'm sure Ron can use his special powers to change time. We will have as much time as Ron says, because he receives it from "god".
