Ronald Weinland, you should read Matthew 9:13

"Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.' For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."

BREAKTIME

Ronald Weinland stated back in 2009 that something horrible will most certainly happen by August 21st 2011. A lot of things are going to be destroyed. It's nuclear breaktime. My version of breaktime is much different.

So while all the PKG followers are huddled under their beds expecting Germany to break the United States and Canada into little pieces, I am going to a peaceful place. Good luck everyone.

I prophecy that no destruction shall occur in the U.S. and Canada, excluding the type of natural disasters that have always happened and may happen in the next two weeks. It is august. August usually brings some pretty good thunderstorms. And I think we are approaching hurricane season. There will be no nuclear war, no massive earthquakes, no volcano, no plague, no financial crash worse than the Depression.

Sorry Ron. You can't get away with this nonsense, because you put a google ad out there and declared yourself a Prophet of God. That is why you are meeting such resistance in the "spirit world". I call it the internet, and anyone can use the internet for free. Well almost free. You do have to buy, rent or borrow a computer and internet connection. The library is free. And computers are real cheap now a days.

Why does Ron not have a YouTube channel? He could preach to the world for free! Hey Ron, the gospel is free, why can't you preach it on free worldwide television? YouTube does not restrict bandwith on it's channels. You can use as much and the world can consume.

I know why. Because you can collect money for the "work", the way you do it now. And of course it is easier to identify a criminal on the run with a video, instead of just a picture.

I prophecy a financial depression in the house of Ronald Weinland. But he's got enough socked away to keep himself and the mrs comfortable at that nice house just south of Zurich.

Are you taking a break? Not publishing? Good for you if you are. Seriously, hibernate until next May and you could pick up where you left off. Weinland is Bo-Ring! at this point anyway.

One thing is becoming abundantly clear-- his true believers don't care what he says about the end of the world. They won't care that it doesn't happen in May 2012. They have stuck with him through his many embarrassing false prophecies and they will continue after the "big reveal".
Honestly, his test of a prophet is not May 2012, but was in summer 2008. May 2012 is for the stragglers. It's a non-event for others.

Hey Jack- great blog. I appreciate your defending the truth and how you are not afraid to do so. I think I will stick to only commenting here. The other blog (AKA your Prof of Weinlandology) has become decidedly more anti-Christian in the "spirit" of tolerance. It just doesn't contain the Biblical wisdom that I see in your posts. Weinland is a fraud, a heretic and a false prophet. Unless one is willing to stand up for the Truth, one cannot call a spade a spade, IMHO. It's meaningless. When you stand for everything, you stand for nothing. A house built on sand.

Also, you seem to have more followers of Weinland willing to comment here than on the other blog.

Again, keep up the good work.

Mark,
I was just taking a little break to teach a 35 month old boy how to fish and start a motor and drive a boat. And catch frogs and butterflies.

As for atheists so what. Everyone is an individual and has their own point of view. If you can be nice to an atheist you can be nice to a brainwashed person too. We will all find out in the end what will happen. It is plain to me in the NT that it is God's will that "none shall perish". Preachers try to hide that one because they don't want to give anyone an excuse to do whatever thay want and be excused and let in anyway. Be patient and be nice to everyone. If someone is bad to you, turn around and go away from that person. Next time you see them try to be nice again. Now of course it is a different story if it is on your property or in your home. We are all masters of our own domain, but not outside the door or property line. That is the domain of the cops.

Whether Dr. Mike is this or that is moot. His site is a veritable encyclopedia of Weinland and PKG facts, which I believe has saved many a potential convert to PKGism from Ron's financial grasp. It's also a forum for discussing Ron's failures, lies, and the damage he does. That will atract all kinds of people, like any blog or furms.

Avalo and others like have and are allowed to comment here. the only censoring I do is no f bombs and no links to "preachers". The truths I write stand for themselves, because the light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it. Case in point: when I quote a scripture and a PKG tries to blot over it with their own "truth". The greater truth shines while the phoney truth fades into nothingness, because it didn't have any power or reasoning behind it in the first place. It was sown in avaricial arrogance and contempt.

Be patient with all. We will all find out the truth in "the end". Or as the old saying goes; it'll all come out in the wash.

Have I ever insulted or mocked a PKG'er? No. Unless you call trying to have a polite and reasonable discussion about any single verse of scripture which destroys Ron's book and sermons,........ insulting or mocking or hatred.

But they insinuate that I am a miserable and lonely person because I am always "mocking" Ron and PKG. The truth is, I am ready in season and out of season to defend the faith which was given to me free of charge because it was already paid for by the shed blood and death of Jesus, and the saints wrote it down on paper and gave their lives too.

Just a couple of follow up points. My point is not about atheists. They are a dime a dozen on these blogs and don't bother me. I have realized that what matters to me more is the weltanschauung of the blog owner. Turning people away from Weinland is a noble thing, but it just leaves a person in limbo. Attempting to bring that person to an authentic relationship with Jesus through scriptural proof is more important to me than just chronicling the lies, deception and audacity of a two-bit preacher.

Truthfully, the antics of Ron Weinland were at least entertaining back in 2008. Now, they are just tiresome and predictable, just like aaaallllll the other false prophets that have come and gone.

Mike (Don't Drink the Flavor Aid) said...

Well Mark, if it's so important to you that PKG refugees be brought to your particular weltanschauung, then make your own blog and do it.

Blogspot blogs are free. Wordpress blogs are free. Just takes some action on your part. Go for it!!!

Mark, believe me when I tell you, a person who has just escaped Ron's grasp and is in limbo, the last thing they want to hear is someone preaching the gospel. They have to go through a complex trial of emotions and an introspective nightmare that will last months. No matter how nice I, or anyone, may be to an ex-cult member, the last thing they will want to talk about is God. Anyone who talks about their former situation or any kind of religion will receive a tirade of profanity and insults that will make them wish they had not brought up the subject.

I perceive by your comments that something has been going on over at mikes blog, but I don't have time tonight to read. It's bedtime for me.

I probably won't listen to Ron's latest because Mike and Dill Weed have covered the major points. Next sabbath is another day.

Don't need to Mike. I think I found it. Have fun!

Jack- it's not about how PKRers react, but about intent. Nobody can control how someone reacts to the gospel. Let me know if your intent really is to care for the sheep. Do you believe the scriptures you use or are you just using them to throw sand in their face? I don't think you are, but it helps to get some clarification.

Mike (Don't Drink the Flavor Aid) said...

Mark's use of the term "sheep" hightlights the differences in our weltanschauung.

He wants to tell them how to think. I'd rather they learned to think on their own.

Sorry for the delay in your comment Mike. I have moderation set for posts older than 14 days. This one has just clicked over.

Awww....I have to write another one?

jack635 said...

I have to read all these again, and I don't know what weltanschauung means. Mark it sounds like some kind of european philosophy. I am also deleting a comment i made out at the cabin. I uploaded a comment and then I added to that original commment but for some reason it did not upload until I got home. So I am deleting the unenhanced comment. Alll the original words are still there so im not hidiing anything. Busy.

"Weltanschauung" is a German word which simply means "world view." In this case, it implies that my worldview is that of a Christian. Christians' also understand the sheep metaphor and aren't turned off by it when applied to following Christ. I'll be the first to say sarcastically that Weinland followers are "Sheeple" but in the context that they follow Weinland not Christ.

I think Mike's comments speak for themselves as far as where he stands.

I don't personally know Mike but we have had a few good laughs between us, both on the blogs and via email. I don't think he is an atheist but I know he will never get sucked into a church again. Whatever he is he has done a good job exposing the insane lying false prophet for what he is.

Even if Mike is an atheist, I see all things working together for the common good. And he can't police his blog 24/7, because he has a life too. In the same way this blog thread has now passed it's moderation point and comments will not be displayed until I publish them. so when I get the time I will write another post and it will have an unmoderated life of 14 days. There I've said my piece, now back to your comments. I understand what you are thinking and that is your right to only comment where you want to comment. My blog is definitely much different than Mikes, but we are both doing the same work of exposing RW's deeds in the bright light of the internet.

PKG members are not allowed to read anything other than Ron's doctrine. But the anonymity of the internet lets them read and comment and sometimes try to preach; and other times attack because what they read threatens their "faith" in Ron, and doubts and questioning creeps into their minds so they have to stop thinking about the real printed truth and snarl at the gospel before going back to their pit of darkness (which they think is a shining mountaintop with a prophet shepherding them to the streets paved with gold)

jack635 said...

Do you believe the scriptures you use or are you just using them to throw sand in their face?

I believe that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the Son of the Living God. When I use a scripture against what Ron or one of his sheep say, it convicts them and it educates whoever is reading. Well, except a committed atheist. But atheism is a "religion" too. It too has many sects.

I'm not a religious person, but I have practically memorized the NT or new covenant. I don't belong to a church because as I have said before:

Better to be a Christian thrown to the lions, than a lion thrown to the Christians.

"Christians" can be the most hurtful people on the planet and each church has their own doctrine. How can one say he is a Christian and insult another human being? There can be no malice or guile in a follower of Jesus. James 3

NONE of us are perfect. But I do try.

Perhaps you have offended Mike? Openly for the whole world to hear. Even a thick skinned individual can have a tiny thin spot. Let's bury this unfortunate friction, and move on.

I believe all who have left Armstrongism (and its derivatives) have become wary and skeptical of all organized religion and "powerful" preachers. Some have thrown the baby out with the bathwater, so to speak. If one's worldview gets shattered (i.e. HWA isn't God's prophet and the church isn't the "true" church), then some begin to doubt the very core of their faith. This black and white thinking persists far beyond the religious system of a cult. I have family members who cannot even cope with life as a result of growing up in a high-demand, either/or, true/false religion.
I've been commenting on ex-WCG religious blogs for the better part of a decade now, and I have come across and debated the most extreme atheists. You are right, I am not going to change their mind. It's not up to me, but only God's timing.

I don't believe that going to church is a bad thing, nor do I think that you have to go to church to be a Christian. There were periods in my life when I didn't go to church and now I go to an "orthodox" church, but I do not see it as a legal requirement to do so.

I think there is a place for Mike's blog. He spends a lot of time listening to a false prophet and chronicles his actions and statements. Maybe he can get a book deal someday out of it. The substance, though, is important to me at this point in my life. Saying "hey, you fools who follow Weinland! You guys are idiots! Leave!" but offering nothing for them to fall back on except human reason just isn't where I want to be spending my time right now.

jack635 said...

I sure hope so. He has spent countless hours dedicated to exposing a false prophet.

I understand you are where you want to be in this point of your life, I was just trying to push the old "love thy neighbour" stuff.

Now who exactly is "thy neighbour"?

Mark said...

I'm not looking for you to be some type of mediator. Contrary to what he posted on his blog, this isn't about being upset that he allowed an "atheist" to hijack threads promoting his "religion". That just shined a light on something I have been thinking for a while concerning participation in these COG-BLOGS.

I am only commenting here 1) because I think you stand for the simple truth (not a religion) and 2) because I still find the likes of Weinland disgusting in Christianity. (But, he's such a bore now that I probably won't. :))

I'm done talking about this, and this is my last post about it.

If you post something regarding Weinland that I want to comment on, then I will. My feelings aren't hurt here, nor are/were they in any way hurt on his blog. I am just standing on conviction, that's all.
