Ronald Weinland, you should read Matthew 9:13

"Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.' For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."

Three Years Ago

I started my own blog three years ago. At that time Ronald Weinland was aggressively preaching the apocalypse. Since his tribulation start date of April 2008 did not happen, he gave another date extending his deadline a further six months. Here is my first post 26 Aug 2008 and unlike Ronald Weinland, I stand behind my words and they are still true:

Ronald Weinland can't read what is in the Bible and understand it. Whenever someone starts adding up dates and bible codes, they end up in a precarious state.
"Of that day and that hour knoweth no man, nor the angels in heaven, but the Father only"
Looks pretty plain to me cause I can read.

That is word for word with no omissions. If we look back through time will we see any changes or deletions from Ron's website? You better believe it. He has changed horses so many times, I can not count. Three years ago the doorstep of horror was right around the corner, delayed six months on account of mercy.

Ron told you the American economy would fail, the dollar would be worthless, nuclear explosions would happen in American port cities, gold would be worthless, and so would your retirement savings. Last time I checked, gold was more than 1600 an ounce. When Ron was telling us gold would be worthless, it was worth about 800 an ounce.

There is a president in the whitehouse and the Americans will be having another election soon. There is no beast power sacking the planet, requiring all to go the the Roman Catholic Church. All that has happened is Ron continues to preach about himself being a prophet and more. As for his prophecies, none have come true. As for his followers, he still has a tight grip on the reins.

Speaking from Los Angeles on Saturday, he said we had seen "some thunders" in reference to the moderate earthquake in the eastern U.S. and the Hurricane Irene which fizzled out compared to what was projected. And when talking about how the people go down to the front of the televangelist churches, he said they do not understand it is Satan. A PKG member sitting up close made a comment about Satan to which Ron immediately cut him off with:

Be careful. Don't monkey around with Satan, See. I can say certain things because of who I am and what I have to say, but you can't so don't monkey around

Well Well Well. Ron says don't monkey around with Satan. The Bible says resist the devil and he will flee from you. Ron says there will be destruction and horrors. Where are all these "prophecies" which were written in his book? You have been lied to. Who is the father of lies? Satan, the devil. When someone says out loud that Satan is sick, does Ron agree or jump on the guy with chastisement.

And another thing. How come Ron cannot read anything that Jesus said without getting nervous? I have remarked many times about how he slowly drills into your head a scripture he twists into his sermon. But what about how he goes from forceful to quickly reading something about Jesus as if it were trivial:

After dwelling on how Matt 24 means PKG is the Temple and PKG members are the stones he switched over to Revelation. While in Laodicean he drilled it into their heads and then very quickly read "Behold I stand at the door and knock; If any man open I will come into him So anyway. It's a matter of having God's spirit, hearing the church of god, and the willingness to change". He does this all the time. Trivialising the verses that don't fit in with his sermon. And dwelling on the verses that are easily twisted.

Nine months left you PKG members. What will you do on May 27th? Will you continue to worship your idol? That would be insane.

Here is what I will post in May:

Clearly you've forgotten how stupid you felt when you stocked up on supplies back in 2008.

Will you now stop giving money to Ron? Or will you continue to rob your children and your wife?

Ron Weinland even called himself insane if he continued preaching after his events didn't happen in 2008.
I wonder if it is even possible for his ilk to repent, follow Jesus and live out the rest of his life in honor and glory to God. I doubt it given his record.
Seriously, if he would truly have a changed heart and follow Jesus, I might even listen to him. What a testimony! But, right now, his heart is hardened.

This might come as a shocker to you, Mark. Ron does not believe in God. He is doing what he is doing for money. He has quite a bit socked away, and he even has another house in Switzerland. He will retire beside a lake.

I've heard the rumor about a house in Switzerland. I myself have nothing to corroborate it, and tend to doubt it.

Randy,
Even though I think he is a scumbag, I would never publish his actual address on the internet. I would feel responsible if any harm came to him. It would be nice if the cops arrested him, but I don't see that happening because most "Christians" who get ripped off won't prosecute anyone.

Anonymous, I hope that statement allays your Hebetudinousity.

Religion is the greatest culprit of all when it comes to lying and
deceit.
-- Ronald Weinland 2008 GFW

That was written by a deceitful liar. Ron will never get his jet. He won't last long enough to collect that much money. He will get a very large sum in April and May.

Be careful Ron, don't spend it all at once.

My guess is that he won't end is "ministry" after May. If he got away with his lies and deceit in 2008, then he can get away with it again in 2012. This isn't a problem with Christianity, just a problem with some (many) preachers who take advantage of God's children. Not that his followers are without culpability. It's just the preacher is held to account at a higher standard.

His followers are deceived, therefore they do not know they are deceived. In my opinion they are not in trouble because they have been led astray by a false prophet.

As for the preacher, if anyone is to blame for the PKG tragedy it is Ron, and ultimately HWA.

Now if he does not retire after disappearing in May, he will preach for profit if he is embraced by his congregation. How the hell something like that could happen escapes me. But I do not know enough about the followers of Armstrongism.

I do believe that most preachers of Armstrongism have clued into the fact that HWA and GTA were con artists that did not beleive in God and were only in it for the money. Vast sums of money. Ron clued in to that truth and his present church message of "the end" is pulling in a lot of money.

He has about two hundred elders, so do the math at ten percent of income and that is a lot of cash every month.

A requirement to be a PKG member is to tithe at the dictated rate. That's at least ten percent. Probably closer to twenty percent.

What is 20% of your income? Now multiply that by 500. That is approximately what Ron and the silent witness pull in every year.

Call a local hotel and ask how much to rent a conference room for an afternoon. Tithes - Rent = nice take

At first I didn't agree with that, but then I thought about my deception in the Armstrong cult for those all important years. God is merciful.

For Ron and his wife, who knows. We all will stand before the judgment seat of Christ. There are serial murderers who will be in the kingdom. Not hard to believe that a selfish delusional false-prophet might also be there too.
