Ronald Weinland, you should read Matthew 9:13

"Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.' For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."

RONALD WEINLAND BORES AUDIENCE

What a waste of two hours.  I really do commend Dr Mike and Dill Weed and all those who listen to Ronald Weinland (even occaisionally), because the fire and brimstone was definitely missing from today's sermon.  One would think that with PKG's Jesus return being so close, Ron would be at least a little excited.

We have two weeks to go until Ron's prophesied Second Coming, and the empassioned rantings of 2008 & 2009 were not present in today's brainwashing session.  He did warn his followers that on THAT DAY they should stay at home because they "may not be able to get back".  Ron is not a fortune teller.  Really?  What happened to God not doing anything without first revealing his will to his prophets?  Or Ron being the most formidable prophet ever used?

I have to confess that if Ron did make any earth shattering statements today, I may have missed it.  I saw a program I have never heard of before and I had it on the television playing in the background.  It was called "World's Dumbest Hillbillies".  Perhaps these are the types of people who are still following Ron.

Since Ron is out of the country for the next two weeks he will be confronted by whether or not to return to the States and face trial and imprisonment for income tax evasion.  He has had plenty of time to transfer his assets to and fro.  I'm sure his lawyers have a lien on his house along with the U.S. government.  But that leaves a lot of liquid assets that can very easily have been moved out of the country, if in fact he has been keeping his money in the U.S.  Switzerland is not the only country in the world where one can hide money, gold, silver, and diamonds.

For those who do not know, here is a list of potential countries that do not have an extradition treaty with the US.   Some of these countries offer very cheap labour that allows anyone with money to live like a Roman senator with slaves.  Wealthy Ron can hide out in style in quite a few of these:

Afghanistan, Algeria, Andorra, Angola, Armenia,
Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brunei, Burkina Faso, Burma, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, the Central African Republic, Chad, China, Comoros, Congo (Kinshasa), Congo (Brazzaville),
Djibouti,
Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia,
Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau,
Indonesia, Ivory Coast,
Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kuwait,
Laos, Lebanon, Libya,
Macedonia, Madagascar, Maldives, Mali, Marshall Islands, Mauritania, Micronesia, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Mozambique,
Namibia, Nepal, Niger,
Oman,
Qatar,
Russia, Rwanda,
Samoa, São Tomé & Príncipe, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Slovenia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria,
Togo, Tunisia,
Uganda, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan,
Vanuatu, Vatican, and Vietnam.

I seriously doubt Ron and Laura would try to shack up in the Vatican, but there are many nice places on the list to retire in total comfort without fear of the law.  Many a corrupt official in many a country have helped intelligent wealthy criminals disappear for good.

Two weeks to go till zero hour.  The Bible clearly states Jesus will not return on a Sabbath or in the winter.  You PKG members ignore what Jesus said and turn your back on Him to follow a false prophet to your liking.

having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander into myths.  2 Tim 4:3-4

So PKG'ers, how much money has your myth cost you?  If you've been with Ron since 2008 I would guess enough to buy a brand new car.  I guarantee to you that Jesus is not coming back on whatever date Ron gives to you.  I really hate to quote Ron but this is one of the only things I have heard him say that is actually true:

People are going to believe what they want to believe

Even if they know it is false?

This is almost MORE than coincidence! Just a week ago, I was thinking to myself, what if Ron and Laura have transferred their assets OUT of country, maybe to a country that has no agreement with the US to extradite them? Hearing it here as well, makes me wonder. Because I seriously can't see how he can explain what went wrong when the 27th comes, and goes, as it will. I was amazed that he managed it after his last failed prophecy. But this one, wow. Sure, there will be those totally loyal idiots that will stay, but I'd think that would be minimal at best.

I'm 99% convinced he is a con artist for profit, after losing his faith after HWA kicked the bucket.

However, that one percent remaining says he might be nuts.

I think I may have just coined a new acronym:

HWAS

Herbert W Armstrong Syndrome

Or maybe it should be HeWAS, because he was and now he isn't. He's dead and rotting in the ground. With all his false holiness and pompous doctrine, he too did not receive the promise of eternal life.

I guess he didn't really believe in Jesus.

Has he ever fallen asleep while giving the sermon?

No, but I have.

"Because I seriously can't see how he can explain what went wrong when the 27th comes, and goes, as it will."

Harold Camping and his Family Radio
empire pulled the same thing off last year and they are still in business. Perhaps Ron could get some advice from old Harold.
