Ronald Weinland mentioned in his latest sermon "there will not be a president inaugurated in January".
Does this mean George Bush will remain president? Does this mean the next president will not be inaugurated until february?
I guess we will have to wait and see. He did mention that they would not "drink anything" in reference to Jim Jones cult drinking cyanide laced Koolaide.

By every standard that Weinland has set for himself, he is a "false prophet". He has simply been wrong over and over again. According to Weinland, by now there should be no USA left. There should have been at least one event of massive destruction such as a nuclear war or something on that level. But there has been nothing like this at all. The only questions left are: is Weinland sincere but misguided? Is he insane? Or is he a con-man? I think he would actually earn some respect if he stuck to his word and did what he said he would do if none of this predictions came to pass - declare himself a false prophet and leave professional ministry and preaching. But even if he wanted to continue on as a preacher or whatever, at the very least he needs to recant what he has said, declare himself a "false prophet" and proclaim that he has no special knowledge of any end time prophecies or anything of that nature.

I am thinking on the same lines. He may have been sinceere but misguided, gone slightly insane, and become a con artist. Or maybe he has been a con artist all along.
His websites are hosted in Switzerland. Now what is Switzerland noted for besides the Alps? He lives in the USA and there are many webhosting companies in the US. I live in Canada and my webhost is in Virginia.
Switzerland is world renowned for discreet banking.
But......it's too early for me to actually declare that he is indeed one of the three above.
I do know that he said these words in my own ears:
"I will declare myself a false prophet and stop preaching.........anything else would be .....well...insane"
So he said if he did not stop preaching he is insane.
The jury is still out on a unanimous decision as to what he really is. Time will tell.
I believe Weinland has the date of September 30, 2008 for something special. I believe its another one of those "trumpet" dates. On the first one there was supposed to be something on the level of a nuclear war, something with a huge amount if physical destruction. Well, nothing happened and he later said that it was indeed a trumpet but it was undetected by humans. So I would guess that if nothing happens on September 30 than he will say much the same.
I have read his book and have studied the bible since I been a Christian. I think he got some good ideas on how he look at religion but he also stated things that havent happened; i am refering to the dates he given. I do know that that china is now trying to create a international currency and I do know that he stated that in his book, as do, the bible. I think that is a key thing when you contempt on it since China just bought most of the U.S debt. Also if you are unaware of Mark Blitz discovery, you probably want to look at that because that not a lie from my viewpoint.

Yea, and the economic disaster he has been babbling about is nowhere in sight. The economy is actually starting to improve.
Yes, the economy *might* be starting to improve slowly, or at the very least we have the situation under control.
Can imagine what it would be like if Weinland had been born in 1900? He would have experienced WWI, a massive Flu pandemic, a full scale depression, and then the one of the most evil regimes in history - Hitler's Third Reich. A few years after WWII there was the creation of Israel as a modern nation state. He would surely have predicted the end to come then.
And what came of all that? Economic boom. The spreading of human rights. The defeat of communism. And we're still here.
Does Weinland have another date set for a trumpet or some other momentous event?
Or has he become wiser and quit setting dates - a practice that has become part of his downfall.
Even Jack Vanimpe doesn't speculate much about specific time frames, days,years etc.
But does Ronald have a new date set?
He has announced 27 May 2012 as the second coming.
