Ronald Weinland, you should read Matthew 9:13

"Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.' For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."

The President That Never Was

Barrak Obama is due to be sworn in on the 20th day of January, 2009. According to Ronald Weinland, no president will take office in January.
Someone had better get a hold of president-elect Obama and tell him he has a big disappointment ahead of him.
And please do it now so he can get his old job back before it is filled.

Or maybe.....just maybe, Ron is lying again while being insane and not preaching anymore.

Okay Dill Weed you are first. What do you think will be the ILFPRW's explanation tomorrow of the first trumpet sounding the beginning of the re-Tribulation thunderous horrors? Yes I know I am grammatically challenged.

Now now -- there's still a month to go. A lot can happen in a month. Ask the Canadian Prime Minister you mention in another post.

ILFPRW has already started back pedaling from the "no new president" prophecy, claiming that it wasn't a prophecy.

Refail Ron also makes much of people who point out that nothing happened on April 17/December 14. He says that's when it begins to happen. He's already laid out the possibility that the 2nd trumpet won't blow for a year, giving him extra time to fleece his flock and come up with timeline #3.

Anybody who's hanging around for timeline #3 is either in on the con or is extermely uninformed (an idiot).

Forget the 1st Trumpet. It's the
2nd Trumpet, the one everyone hears, believer and unbeliever alike, that puts the lie to ramblin' Ron.

The longer the 2nd Trumpet delays, the less time there is for the other 5 Trumpets, and the 7 Bowls.

Ron is in a time vice... and the more time that passes and nothing keeps happening... the more dancing he'll have to do...

I'm waiting for Citizen X, the Weinland Witness, to say what he believes. Some believe he will support Ron. I don't think so. He's giving Ron a very fair chance to prove himself.

There isn't a way for Ron to credibly back away from his 'prophecies'.

I'm just enjoying the show.

I googled "Citizen X"
What does a Ukrainian serial killer have to do with RW?

The PM prorogued parliament until January. He is only delaying the inevitable; a vote of non confidence.

My opinion is he delayed the vote so he can cook the books before disgracefully leaving office.

I predict that you will see Ron's prophecies become more and more vague as time goes by. He will be less willing to corner himself or be specific. Anyone can make prophecies like that. For example, I think that in 2009, at least one country on Earth will experience a significant outbreak of a deadly virus. Will I be right about that one? My chances are pretty good, and of course the word "significant" is open to interpretation. Also, I predict that there will be at least one new war involving one or more large or middle powers of the world. Ron will probably resort to that level of vagueness.

But for now, he has really cornered himself with the "no new President" thing. I wonder what he will say when Obama finishes the oath on that day?

Has Ron made any other predictions that are as specific as this one that would come to pass (if they were real) in the next few months?

Okay, yes we are still a month away from Obama taking office. Unless the first trumpet that was originaly blown in april and now again on the 14th makes any kind of noise very soon, all his prophecies are false. He is going to have to draft a new cover for his book in ten more days. eg: 2009 Ron's New Truth.

Let's take a poll here...

What will Weinland do and say when Obama and Biden are sworn in on January 20?

Will he:

a) totally recant and admit he was wrong all along?

2) say all the changes were "spiritual" and/or invisible?

3) Say that Obama is not truly the President despite appearances?

4) re-work his prophecies with a more vague and messed up timeline?

Mike (Don't Drink the Flavor Aid) said...

I'll go with #4. He's already recanted, saying that it wasn't a prophecy.

Yes, and he will remind people that the last time he mentioned the president he used the word "think".

It's a little foggy but I think he said:
"I still think a president will not take office in January."

Don't forget, Trumpet #2 was supposed to sound by June 8, 2008.
