Ronald Weinland, you should read Matthew 9:13

"Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.' For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."

Ronald Weinland and the End of Prophecy 2008

Ronald Weinland has prophesied the end-time 2008 as starting today, Dec 14th. I am in a major North American city and it is getting dark. The ILFPRW announced the trumpet will be blown today and I have heard NOTHING.

I have not heard the "Jerusalem Sermon" yet because I am enjoying family and friends for another week. I really want to listen to his special sermon, as I want to hear the latest terrors and warnings from the doorman on the doorstep of horror.

I will probably listen tonight after some tribulation pizza.
Oh....by the way there are only 17 more days left in 2008. I thought Ron's book was entitled "2008 the end time in prophecy". Next printing will have to be 2009, or why not just make it 2012?

FALSE PROPHET OF THE YEAR 2008

Ronald Weinland

The video below shows my prediction of what will happen to Ronald Weinland's pastorship when it spins out of control.

Did ANYTHING happen on December 14th that would make any reasonable person think the Great Tribulation has begun?

Wasn't there supposed to be some great world event or something? Earthquake, war, disease outbreak, a dictator's rise to power, a coup, assassination - or something?

Funny - Sunday, December 14th was actually a slow news day.

Oh, wait! The trumpet did blow, but all the happenings are purely spiritual and can't be seen by non-believers.

Or something like that.

Weinland said there will be no new President sworn in next month. I'm sure that when Obama takes the Oath Weinland will say that in fact Obama is not actually the President. Maybe he's an anti-President.

Weinland is a crook, a liar, and simply a terrible scholar.

An Iraqi journalist threw his shoes at president Bush. Th-th-th-th-that's all folks.

Maybe weinland can link the shoe throwing to something in the Bible :).

QUESTION -- Did Weinland indeed say that there would be any momentous events or tangible signs of the trumpet being blown on December 14, 2008?

Whether he did or not, he certainly has limited himself by saying there will be no new President sworn in in January. That means that on that day (I think is Jan 20) Weinland will again lose another massive chunk of credibility.

My guess is that when that happens he will quit making ANY real predictions and start saying that there may be no outward signs of any of the Tribulation or final days of humanity. But if that's the case, why have any timeline at all?

Weinland would actually gain respect and credibility if he just came out and said "You know, I was totally wrong, sorry about that".

He said he would do that. Failing to do that makes him either a liar or insane (or perhaps a little of both). In any case he is a classic example of a false prophet.

Proof positive according to Ron:

Ron in his 1260 Days sermon said the 2nd trumpet would have physical and spiritual fullfillment.

“This will be seen BY ALL. THIS HAS NOT CHANGED.”

All will see this believers and unbelievers alike:

Something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

So… look up for a great firey mountain screaming across the sky.

Ron has hung his hat on this one. This will need to happen soon because there are the 5 other trumpets and the bowls, too and all in 3 1/2 years.

Ron said the 1st Trumpet (which blew at the beginning of the 1260 days) was 'physical and spiritual,' but that exactly what that would be was not 'known' and would be given. LOL.

In any case, ALL will know when the 2nd Trumpet (the next Trumpet) is blown.

Tick Tock

I finally listened to his latest sermon and he didn't seem too zealous. In fact he didn't seem to know anything anymore. Poor Ron. You've been let down by that demon you've been listening to.

So now he has made himself god by changing the scripture to allow Laura to be in a position of authority over men in the church.

I can't imagine what the new timeline will be.

How will Ron separate himself from his predicition that there will be no inauguration?

He's gonna need to deal with this one soon.

If he can make it "awesome and incredible to know" it may sell better.

If Ron said that there will be no new President sworn in in January, then let's just think of what that means...

For there NOT to be some person sworn in, there would have to be such a series of calamities that would make it impossible for even the most basic procedures of the top level of government to function. My guess is that even if we had another Hurricane Katrina, a massive earthquake in California, and a nuclear attack all happening on the same day - that we would STILL swear in a new President on January 20.

So what Weinland is predicting is the most physically and psychologically destructive event in human history. All wars, disasters, invasions, plagues, and accidents would pale by comparison to what Weinland is predicting to happen within the next few days. Because this is what it will take to prevent a swearing in of a new President.

Now... on the other hand, perhaps one scenario that Weinland will be looking for is an event where there is a military takeover and some general declares himself ruler of the USA. This would also make a swearing in impossible. But this is pretty doubtful too.

I predict that Obama will be sworn in next week. It will be a great day of hope for all Americans. Everybody will be happy.

But what will Weinland say when this all comes to pass?

What will be his excuse or explanation for appearing to be totally wrong again?

Any predictions or ideas?

He will say he did not prophecy that there would not be a president take office, he said he thought there would not be a president take office.

He will explain everything away in the same manner he has explained away his book. He said God is giving us more time so that more will be brought into the true church.

So in his mind, that nullifies the falseness of his book which clearly stated horrors would happen last fall.

He is suffering from Armstrong syndrome. Or he has left faith for the con artistry of preaching for profit.

I have to censor your swear words. You understand I'm sure.

I thought we would see "no new President sworn in in January 2009", according to Rev. Weinland.

What happened?

Can't this supposed "end time prophect" get anything right?
